Jessica Roberts

Director

Ystradgynlais-born and raised, Jessica first joined Roberts Homes in 2003, working evenings and weekends from school. After successfully taking her A-Levels she joined us full-time to manage both the Estate Agency & Principality Building Society Agency.

In 2021 she acquired the firm from Anne and is now the sole director of the company.

Outside of work Jessica is extremely involved in the local community, being a long-term committee member and treasurer of the community organisation Discover Ystradgynlais. With a passion for animals and animal welfare, for over five years she has also volunteered twice a month at Llys Nini animal shelter in Penllergaer.

Jessica is a strong believer in supporting local businesses and the wider community and strives to reflect this in the business’ values.

Anne Roberts

Manager

Anne was the owner of Roberts Homes for 35 years until 2021 when her daughter Jessica acquired the company as the new director. She now works part-time with Roberts Homes in the run up to retirement providing her extensive knowledge of the local market combined with her many years of experience in estate agency.

She is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and is a great believer in customer service. Living locally she has a wealth of local knowledge and experience. She has been actively involved in the community and for over twenty years was a governor of both local senior and primary schools.

Out of work, if you’re awake early enough, you may spot Anne walking miles each day with her energetic collie Tommy.

Chris Richards

Negotiator

Born in Swansea, but raised in England, Chris finally returned home to Wales after many years and joined the team in May 2019 initially to oversee the transition to new estate agency CRM software and to assist with general admin duties.

He has since taken on additional roles covering all aspects of the estate agency as well as bringing his photography, design, and media skills to the business. He also enjoys using new technology to further enhance the day-to-day operations of the business.

Chris loves the dynamic nature of the job, with no two days being the same. He prides himself on presenting our properties to the highest standards and maintaining great relations with our vendors and buyers.

Kelly Marnell

Principality Cashier & Estate Agency Admin

Kelly joined Roberts Homes in October 2017.

She settled into the Principality Agency quickly and our customers value her professional & friendly approach.

When Kelly is not busy behind the Principality counter, she also deals with a range of estate agency duties including bookings, AML checks, lettings maintenance, and even viewings, and has become an invaluable member of the Roberts Homes team.

Tommy

Office Dog

As the newest member of the team, Tommy joined Roberts Home team in 2020. Despite having no prior experience, Tommy is a fast learner. His fields of expertise include destroying mop heads, guarding the Roberts Homes garden from birds, and he has also developed chewing skills across a range of items including desks, skirting boards, and delivery packaging.

Now established with the firm, Tommy has developed his skills to including headbutting basketballs and chasing reflections around the office.
