We love properties with a bit of history, and there’s plenty of that around here. Here are some interesting facts about one of our latest properties – a three bedroom semi located in Dyffryn Cellwen.
43 Main Road, Dyffryn Cellwen originally served as doctor’s surgery up until the late 1940s. It was previously known as ‘Surgery House’
The doctor’s living quarters were upstairs. The lounge was what is now the master bedroom.
What is now the dining room was once the doctor’s consultation room.
The waiting room was located in what is now next door.
The surgery had it’s own dispensary. The original medicine cabinets still remain as useful storage in what is now the utility room.
